ArcGIS Desktop 9.3 with ArcInfo Workstation is an application requiring the use of a license manager. You can choose to use a Hardware Key or to use ESRI's new Keyless System. The ArcInfo license can be used for standalone (single license manager & single client) or lab (single license manager & multiple clients) setups. This license also includes multi-license versions of ArcView and ArcEditor for installation in a lab environment.
In order to use ArcGIS Desktop with ArcInfo Workstation, you must request a key code by filling out the
License File Request Form. Your code will be sent to you usually within 24-48 hours.
When setting up multi-license software in a lab environment, you must purchase RTU licenses for each of the client computers that will be connected to your license server and specify that number when submitting the
License File Request Form.
If you would like to set up ArcInfo on a stand-alone machine - purchase one RTU (Right To Use) license and specify one license when submitting the
License File Request Form.
Students are able to purchase ESRI licenses as long as the license is used for educational purposes. There is also a 1 year ArcEditor license available for students. Please contact the
Site License Coordinator for more information.
All ESRI licenses are not returnable.
