NOD32 (ESET) Antivirus Software - Departmental Use (Student/Personal see below)

General Information

NOD32 for Departments: NOD32 is available through a site license from the MSU Computer Store. Licenes will be valid until November 30, 2010. Customers will need to renew at that time to continue to receive virus definitions and version upgrades. To receive the volume discount, you must purchase five or more licenses at one time.; Two versions of NOD32 are currently available. The Business Edition includes anti spyware and anti virus. The Smart Security Suite includes anti spam and a personal firewall in addition to anti spyware and anti virus. If you previously ordered from the MSU Computer Store, you will need to purchase the Business Edition. The Smart Security Suite is a brand new product for this contract period. The Smart Security Suite is not recommended for use on servers. If you would like more information about the versions, please contact the Site License Coordinator at the MSU Computer Store.; Please note that there is not a separate part number for renewals. All orders will use one of the part numbers listed on the price list. If you would like to keep your current user name and password, you must order a minimum of 100 licenses. Please include your current information when you place your renewal order.; If you would like to add licenses to your current user name, please include that user name in the customer comment section of your order. You must purchase a minimum of 5 new licenses for an add on. Please contact the Site License Coordinator for more information.
NOD32 for Personal Purchase: NOD32 is available for students, faculty and staff.; To order a single license for NOD32:

Input a valid MSU email to validate your email address, you will then be sent to the purchase page.

Choose a button to purchase 1,2,3 or 4 NOD32 Anti Virus or Smart Security licenses.

On the next page, find the "Redeem a discount coupon" section and enter the coupon code edu50cRa735 and click "Submit". You will then be sent to the registration page.

Fill in your personal information and valid MSU.edu email address. Click submit to see the discount applied. (if a valid email OR a valid coupon code is NOT provided, the purchase will go through, but the regular price will be applied). A credit card receipt will be presented.

The order will be sent to Software Security Solutions for fulfillment. All orders should be filled within 1 business day.

Installation Information

Purchase a license for NOD32. Your receipt is your proof of license.
Activation Code-After your purchase, a download file will be emailed to you from ESET as well as a user name and password you will need for installation. Follow the directions provided for the downloading and installation of the software.

Upgrades

If there is a new version of NOD32 released, you will be able to upgrade as long as you have a current and valid license.

Home Use Provision

All NOD32 licenses will license one computer only.

Media

There is no physical media with the license. You will be sent a file to download after your purchase.
