Ordering Notes -
Saving a Web Proposal does not place an order, see purchasing instructions below.
- When Creating a proposal do not use "save for later" instead us the "submi proposal" button.

Purchasing Instructions:
- Click on the link above, which will take you to the Apple Store School Locator.
- Choose Michigan from the drop-down menu labeled Select your schools state, and type in East Lansing in the text box labeled Enter your schools city.
- Select Michigan State University from the list of schools.
- Choose and configure the system you want. When finished, you will see a page titled Review Your Proposal. Make sure all of the items on the order are correct, then click on Create Proposal.
- You will need to obtain an Apple ID in order to save a web proposal. Click on the link labeled "If you dont have an account, click here to set one up". On the next page, fill out all of the required fields and click Continue.
- Log in with your new Apple ID.
- In the text box labeled Purchasing Agents Email Address enter drewyorc@msu.edu. Most of the other text boxes are optional. When you are finished, click Continue.
- Your web proposal has now been saved. This DOES NOT place your order. Please record this number for use with your requisition, on-line order, or mail/fax order.
- For Departments, put this number on your requisition as the stock number, and send to the Computer Store. Our fax number is (517) 353-5364. You may also use the web proposal number for our online order form (under the heading Vendor Quote Items), which can be used to place orders for proposals under $5000.
- For Personal Purchases, you may use the web proposal number on our Online Order Form (under the heading Vendor Quote Items), or you can print out your web proposal information and bring it to the MSU Computer Store in 110 Computer Center for ordering. - All of the products listed through our Apple Store include free shipping.
Apple Technical Support Information:
- Apple systems come with a 1 year parts and labor warranty with 90 days of phone support. Apple also offers the AppleCare warranty extension, which increases the warranty to 3 years parts and labor and 3 years of phone support. You may purchase AppleCare with any new Mac system, or any time within the included 1 year warranty period.
